What We Believe

We are a small group of Believers, holding to the truths proclaimed by the Protestant Reformers. The doctrinal basis of the Church is the 1689 Baptist Confession of Faith

We believe:

The Bible is the inspired and infallible word of God.

That all humans are sinners deserving the punishment of God, needing salvation but we are unable to save ourselves.

We are saved by God’s grace, through the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ.

• There is no other way for forgiveness of sins except through the Lord Jesus Christ.

That Christ is the Head of the Church. (the Church being the believers in Christ)

As a Baptist Church, we believe that baptism is for those who have repented of their sins and turned to Christ for forgiveness and Salvation. Baptism is by immersion.

Services

Our church services are simple, and follow what we believe to be Biblical principles for worship. We sings hymns that are reverent accompanied by a piano, pray, read the Bible and learn from the preaching of God’s Word. A children’s talk is included in the morning service. An offering is taken up during both services.

We remember the death of the Lord Jesus during the Lord’s Supper held once a month following the evening service. Those who have repented of their sins and trusted in Christ alone for Salvation, are welcome to join us at this time.
